I have now chosen Tango Hogar as my place to stay in Buenos Aires for 2 years in a row. Oscar, Norma and Manuel are wonderful hosts always ready to offer advice, a friendly smile, a cup of coffee and a chat...even if your spanish is as limited as mine.
The environment enables you to feel at home, and as a lone traveller, you always have someone to go out with to the local tango clubs. In saying that, there is no such thing as feeling lonely in a strange environment, because you become part of the family and make new friends for life.
I would highly recommend tango hogar as a place to stay. It is a wonderful and convenient district and i will definately be back there again on my next journey to BA. |
